Hi, I’m Rebecca

I’m a Darlington Gardener, originally from Durham and have been a qualified Gardener & Florist for 15 years. Most recently I have worked for The Apartment Group as a Gardener and Florist and as a Horticultural and Floristry lecturer at Houghall College.

My passion for nature and sustainability shines through in the work I do for clients, both in gardening and floristry.

I was trained in Horticulture and Floristry at Houghall College, achieving the highest grades within my group, and have most recently completed a BSc Environmental Science degree at Northumbria University. My dissertation was based on urban trees amongst different income groups in Durham, to address environmental inequalities. Alongside this, I’ve also worked as a wedding florist for 15 years, owning my own business.

In my spare time, I enjoy running, walking, bird watching and immersing myself in nature. I have 2 border terriers which I am bessotted with, and live with my fiance, Joss in West Park.
